A Huntington woman who has devoted 47 years of her life to keeping her community was honored Tuesday with a citation for her upcoming 100th birthday.
Mary Brenner has served the Huntington First Aid Squad as an EMT and now as a dispatcher. She says she has no plans to slow down.
"I'm still going to dispatch as long as I can talk," Brenner says.
Brenner tells News 12 that five of her family members work alongside her.
"When I heard their voice on the air, my heart beats," Brenner says. "I'm so proud of them because they are doing God's work."
