Huntington woman honored with citation for devotion to town ahead of 100th birthday

11ds agoA Huntington woman who has devoted 47 years of her life to keeping her community was honored Tuesday with a citation for her upcoming 100th birthday.
Mary Brenner has served the Huntington First Aid Squad as an EMT and now as a dispatcher. She says she has no plans to slow down.
"I'm still going to dispatch as long as I can talk," Brenner says.
Brenner tells News 12 that five of her family members work alongside her.
"When I heard their voice on the air, my heart beats," Brenner says. "I'm so proud of them because they are doing God's work."
