Businesses work to clear out drains following downpours from Elsa

Residents and business owners in South Huntington are dealing with the aftermath of Tropical Storm Elsa.
A-1 Award Transmissions dealt with flooding but was able to save most of the cars on its property.
Charlie Raymond, the owner of A-1 Award Transmissions, says he and his staff got right to work cleaning up debris out of the drains on West Jericho Turnpike.
"We go into save mode, which means we're here from 7 a.m. We're trying to save the cars in the back from being flooded out completely and the cars from the front parking lot," says Raymond.
Raymond says the Town of Huntington drains fill with debris and cause flooding.
Raymond says two cars did get ruined in the storm. He says one was owned by a customer and the other belonged to an employee.
