MTA: State trooper, MTA officer injured during incident on RFK Bridge

Traffic was at a standstill on the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge near the Bronx Sunday due to an incident involving police and the MTA.
According to the MTA, Bridges and Tunnels officers arrested the driver and passenger of a stolen vehicle following an incident that began at approximately 12:40 p.m in the Bronx-bound lanes of the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge's Queens span.
An MTA Bridge and Tunnel officer and a New York state trooper were injured, but details surrounding the incident were not immediately clear.
The agency says two people have been arrested – a 21-year-old man was charged with reckless endangerment, vehicular assault, unauthorized use of a vehicle along with a slew of charges. A 17-year-old was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, possession of an imitation firearm and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
According to New York State Police, the trooper was treated and released.
