Ridge Road Park is an ideal place to picnic and play.

There are adventures off the beaten path, with markers to help keep hikers on track.

People who live with mobility concerns can also get in on the fun!

It's thanks to an adaptive program that just kicked off its second year.

The Westchester Parks Foundation just opened its calendar for the second season of Trails Without Limits.

The program expands accessibility to rustic county trails for people who live with cerebral palsy, cardiac issues, amputation, arthritis and other mobility concerns.

All-Terrain Trackchairs are electric powered chairs that can be used on hiking trails.

Anyone who registers can take part in this program at no cost.

Several timeslots are open to register throughout each week to enjoy a guided hike of up to two miles.

Every month, new adventures are held at different parks in Westchester County.
