2ds agoTwo new outdoor fields are coming to the Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale.
The Nassau County Legislature approved the plans Wednesday for the fields to be built next to the indoor soccer facility.
Nassau County says the fields will have lights and be used for a variety of sports.
Construction is expected to start this summer.
